DTRIP4H at the EATRIS Digital Symposium on New Approach Methodologies

February 12, 2026

The DTRIP4H project was presented at the EATRIS-organised Digital Symposium on New Approach Methodologies (NAM) to Accelerate Medicines Development and Repurposing. The presentation highlighted the overall objectives of the project, with a particular focus on Use Case 2 – the “Virtual Drug Combiner.” The work was delivered by Associate Professor Jing Tang (University of Helsinki).

The symposium convened members of the EATRIS Small Molecules Platform together with the broader scientific community to discuss the latest advances in predictive translational models. Participants explored how New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) can enhance reproducibility, strengthen regulatory alignment, and ultimately increase patient impact in medicines development and repurposing.

DTRIP4H’s participation in the symposium marks an important step in strengthening collaboration with parallel initiatives and deepening engagement within the EATRIS community. It also provides a valuable opportunity to build connections with European Research Infrastructures, supporting future cross-institutional cooperation and long-term strategic collaboration in the field of digital and translational medicine.
