@DTRIP4H CONSORTIUM

DTRIP4H at the European Congress of Radiology 2026, Austria
March 4-8, 2026
The DTRIP4H project was represented at the European Congress of Radiology 2026 (ECR), held from March 4-8, 2026, in Vienna, Austria. As one of the leading international events in radiology and medical imaging, ECR brings together experts, researchers, and innovators to share the latest developments and advancements in the field.
During the congress, DTRIP4H partners contributed to the scientific programme by presenting ongoing research and technological developments within the project. In particular, a session featured doctoral researcher Marja Jaronen from the University of Oulu and Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Finland. She presented her doctoral dissertation plan as well as the virtual reality (VR) environment being developed within the DTRIP4H project. This VR solution is designed to enhance safety training for professionals working in and around MRI environments.
The presentation reflects the project’s commitment to advancing innovative, technology-driven approaches to healthcare training and safety. By leveraging immersive VR solutions, DTRIP4H aims to improve preparedness and risk awareness among professionals operating in complex medical environments.
Participation in ECR 2026 provided an excellent opportunity to disseminate project results, engage with the wider radiology community, and strengthen collaboration with international stakeholders. The DTRIP4H consortium continues to work towards developing impactful solutions that contribute to safer and more effective healthcare practices.
