DTRIP4H at the Nordic Conference on Digital Health and Wireless Solutions 2026, Oulu

June 16-17, 2026

On 16–17 June 2026, representatives of the DTRIP4H Use Case 1 team participated in the Nordic Conference on Digital Health and Wireless Solutions, hosted by the University of Oulu, Finland.

As part of the conference poster session, the team presented the poster titled “Effectiveness of XR-Based Radiation and MRI Safety Training for Healthcare Professionals: A Systematic Review.” The presentation highlighted ongoing research into the use of Extended Reality (XR) technologies to enhance safety training for healthcare professionals working in radiation and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) environments.
The poster was authored by Marja Elina Jaronen, Adam Graham, Karoliina Paalimäki-Paakki, Tanja Schroderus-Salo, Niko Männikkö, Tuulikki Keskitalo, and Kristina Mikkonen.

The Nordic Conference on Digital Health and Wireless Solutions is a multidisciplinary event that brings together researchers, healthcare professionals, educators, technology developers, and industry representatives to discuss the latest advances in digital health, healthcare education, and emerging technologies. The conference serves as an important platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, fostering innovative approaches to improving healthcare delivery and professional training.

We would like to thank Kristina Mikkonen and Milla Immonen for representing the DTRIP4H project during the conference poster session and contributing to the project's visibility within the international digital health community.
