DTRIP4H Presented at Kyoto University’s CiRA, Japan
January 30, 2026
On January 30, 2026, DTRIP4H reached Japan as our partner Denis Scaini from the University of the Basque Country visited the Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA) at Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan. During an open seminar, he represented the project and contributed to scientific exchange with leading researchers in regenerative medicine and stem cell research.
CiRA is a world-renowned research center dedicated to induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell research and its clinical applications. The center brings together interdisciplinary experts to advance innovative approaches in disease modeling, drug discovery, and regenerative therapies.
Denis Scaini’s presentation, titled “Cellular mechanoadaptation: just a common cellular mechanism or something more? The intriguing case of neuronal cells”, showcased the latest research on mechanobiology and its role in neuronal activity, development, and neurological disorders. The seminar fostered knowledge exchange and strengthened international collaboration in cutting-edge biomedical research aligned with the objectives of DTRIP4H.
