DTRIP4H Launches Exploitation Activities with an Interactive Workshop

On 7 October 2026, the DTRIP4H consortium came together for a thought-provoking interactive workshop and shared discussion about the project's direction, progress, and future impact.

These fundamental questions took centre stage as the DTRIP4H consortium kicked off its exploitation activities with an engaging and thought-provoking workshop on 7 October 2026.

The workshop marked the first of two interactive sessions planned for this autumn, aimed at strengthening the project's exploitation strategy, understanding future users, and shaping meaningful value propositions for the Digital Twin Technology Ecosystem (DDTE).

Rather than following the traditional approach of presenting project results to external stakeholders, DTRIP4H reversed the perspective: an external expert was invited to challenge the consortium's thinking and encourage fresh ideas.

The workshop was facilitated by Clowder Works, a research service supporting scientific integration in digital health, and led by Dr Ekaterina Kutafina, a digital twin expert and research leader in data-driven medicine at the Institute of Biomedical Informatics, University Hospital Cologne.

All consortium partners, including use case leaders, actively participated in the session, bringing together diverse perspectives on the project's development and future impact.

Simple Questions, Valuable Insights: Using Mentimeter, participants engaged in a creative and interactive exchange, revisiting some of the most fundamental questions about DTRIP4H:
๐Ÿ”นWhat are the goals of DTRIP4H from each partner's perspective?
๐Ÿ”นAre we satisfied with DTRIP4H progress so far?
๐Ÿ”นWhat about the teamwork?
๐Ÿ”นWhat exactly is going well, and what are the challenges we face?
๐Ÿ”นWho are the 'clients' for our 'product'?

While seemingly simple, these questions encouraged meaningful reflection on the project's shared vision, collaboration, and real-world relevance.

A key focus of the workshop was looking beyond technological development to better understand who will benefit from DTRIP4H's solutions and what value they will gain.

This user-centred perspective is essential for shaping the project's exploitation strategy and ensuring that the DDTE is not only technologically innovative but also relevant, sustainable, and positioned for future uptake.

We are looking forward to the next workshops this year!
