The DTRIP4H project invites stakeholders across the European health ecosystem to participate in a dedicated Stakeholder Engagement Workshop entitled “Exploring User Needs: Foundations for the Decentralized Digital Twin Environment Requirements.” This online workshop will take place on Friday, 30 January 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 CET.

The workshop marks the first in a series of stakeholder-focused co-creation sessions designed to ensure that the Decentralized Digital Twin Environment (DDTE) for Health is developed in alignment with real-world stakeholder expectations, operational needs, and governance requirements. Through a structured dialogue, these workshops aim to support the identification of challenges and opportunities and contribute to the collaborative development of the DDTE.

𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐞. This session will introduce participants to the DTRIP4H project and the Decentralized Digital Twin Environment that the project aims to develop. It will also provide an initial overview of the upcoming Governance Playbook, which will be designed by the project consortium to describe the essential governance policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) required to establish, operate, and sustain the DDTE effectively.
The workshop will explore the practical, ethical, organisational, and regulatory contexts surrounding the DDTE, with the objective of identifying potential issues that should be prioritised and opportunities that may be leveraged during development and implementation.

The workshop will focus on the following 𝐨𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬:
o Identify user and stakeholder needs and expectations.
o Map current workflows, data practices, decision-making processes, and governance constraints.
o Identify risks, constraints, and enablers that may impact the employment of the DDTE.
o Generate an initial set of high-level requirements and thematic areas.
